Prior to setup, the following conditions must be met to ensure an efficient and secure sale:
Any items not included in the sale must be removed from the home or secured in a locked area
Wi-Fi should be enabled or left on if required for sale operations
All utilities including electricity, heating or air conditioning, water, and restroom facilities must be fully operational throughout the sale
Parking access, entryways, hallways, and stair areas must remain clear and accessible for staff and customers
During the sale, our company ensures the following procedures are in place:
Caution signage is posted in areas with stairs or potential safety concerns
Off-limits areas are secured and monitored
Adequate staff is positioned throughout the home to assist customers and monitor activity
A staffed checkout area accepts cash, credit, and debit cards, with all transactions properly recorded
Furniture removal and loading are supervised by trained staff
At the conclusion of each sale day, our team verifies that:
Doors and windows are properly secured
Lights are turned off where appropriate
Bathrooms and kitchens are checked to ensure water is not running
Alarm systems are reset as required
